The Crayola Factory

Early in October, James went to a conference at Villanova. I took the girls up and we spent one day at Hershey’s ZooAmerica and Chocolate World. I don’t have pictures from that day as I forgot the camera. One mom with two little girls in unfamiliar territory and stuff happens. The second day we went up to Easton and went to see the Crayola Factory. Cecilia loved it. There was a demonstration on how they make crayons and markers. There was a place to play with molding clay:

65390007There was a whole room of sidewalk with tons of chalk:

65390008There was a little kids area with a machine where you put in plastic balls and then watch them run through the contraption across the ceiling and down the ball maze:

65390010There were places to play with markers, paints, construction paper, crayons, etc. There was a clear wall with makers you could write on:

65390013And, of course, we couldn’t leave without visiting the store. I won’t say how much we bought there, but here is the world’s largest crayon displayed in the store:

65390014I’d heartily recommend a visit. Cecilia didn’t want to leave.
