Small Successes

1. Well, I completed my quilt’s border squares 11, 12 and 13. I’ve begun number 14. Only two more to go after this one! Yes, there is more to the quilt but these squares are very time consuming. I’m so excited I should be able to make my goal of finishing this group of squares before October.

2. Rotating toys in and out of the living room helps keep the room easier to manage and can I had put some toys in a box to store. And then promptly left the box on the floor of my bedroom instead of hiding it away in the closet. On Monday night, Cecilia found it and it took a few minutes, but then figured out what was in it. I managed to stealthily snag the box and quickly hide it in the closet. Crisis of tears and mess of toys diverted!

3. We finally replaced our Swiffer Sweeper Vac, which ceased to work well or properly several weeks ago. We bought a Shark version and hopefully it will be the last time we buy one for quite a while.

  1. Do you rotate your toys often?
I never think to do this as I don’t know how I would store them.
    God Bless

  2. I can’t say as I have a schedule for it. I just find a decent-sized box and try to fill it with those toys that the girls haven’t had as much interest in lately. Or if we have two sets of blocks, which are they using less. I hide them in the closet until the girls get bored with the toys that are out and then switch. They think of the boxed toys as new and treat them as such.

  3. I’m SO sorry I’m so late. I’m here, reading when I can – it has just been too hard for me lately. Thanks for taking the time to post this and inspiring us all! God Bless!
