1. I completed squares 8, 9 and 10 of the 16 border squares for the quilt. I’m hoping to finish the remaining 6 by the end of September.
2. I finally began reading something besides Jane Eyre. Sad, I know. But I enjoyed that book so much. I did finally force myself to read something else though and I’ve begun Emily Bronte’s Wuthering Heights.
3. I was “working” on my computer when Cecilia interrupted me to read something to her. I stopped what I was doing and looked at what she wanted me to read. She had found one of these small prayer books that gets mailed to us for donations. I stopped what I was doing and we said the Litany of Loreto together. It was worth the interruption but I don’t always give interruptions such attention. Maybe God is telling me to get off the computer. lol.

Number three, there: I could use a bit of success with that, too. 🙂

Yay for quilting! It’s one of those hobbies I know would consume my life (and my tiny house) if I attempted it. But it makes me pleased to no end that others do it :).
When I was in high school, I read Jane Eyre (okay, after the first time I skipped those awful first chapters that are so depressing) 6 times. I was obsessed. It’s just a great work!
